Farm to School in Washington State with WSDA

This Lunch & Learn tackles what “farm to school” means and what farm to school looks like in Washington. Most importantly, this session provides resources and opportunities to build upon existing efforts and activities to help advance farm to school in Washington state. The presenter of this Lunch & Learn is Annette Slonim from WSDA’s Farm to School Program

Annette Slonim, joined WSDA in August 2021 and has over 10 years of farm to school and local food system experience. She previously worked for a local food hub, school garden and food education non-profits, and local health departments supporting school wellness and food access initiatives. Annette holds a BA in Environmental Studies from McGill University and an MPA from the University of Washington.
